components ie. The touch screen based KIOSK which can be operated by the user through

It is very essential for organizations to properly document the safety training.
These are mandatory for many Safety standards like ISO 14000 / OSHAS 18000 etc.
This kind of documentation is very essential take care of legal issues, which may
arise due to any untoward incidence.
STK helps in generating this documentation in simple but a very systematic way.
The process is as follows …
After successfully completing the Safety Training a certificate or a passport can
be issued with details like the Name of the person, Organization Name, Validity,
Type of training undertaken etc. A Control can be established by allowing only those
who have a valid training passport inside the organization. This will help in reducing
the training burden and also ensuring that people only with proper safety training
are allowed inside the organization.
STK Enterprise version
STK is also available in an Enterprise wide set up. This model is very effective
when the training has to be provided at different locations and large number of
candidate.
The architecture for the same is as follows…
In this version there can be separate programs for the Visitors, Employees, New
Joinees etc. The employees can access the program all across the enterprise via
their intranet.
Different types of KIOSKs can be placed in Class Rooms, Visitor Lounges and other
places.
Modules of STK:
Program: A program is a set of slides which can be used to disseminating
the information. One can create as many program as one needs depending upon the
need of specific department or specific certifications organization is going for
etc. These programs can be called from one another and hence it always makes sense
to create smaller programs and then call them from a main program.
Every program comprises of various pages. There can be three types of pages namely
Display Pages, Navigation Pages & Quiz pages.
Display Pages: Display pages have specific templates in which the
information can be displayed. So one can choose how many movies, images etc. one
would like to have on the screen. Also the text & the fonts etc. can be chosen
in the display pages.
Navigation Pages: Navigation pages are used for navigating through
various programs. When one has many programs and wants to organize the programs
then the navigation option is used. However in a KIOSK kind of an environment it
one should avoid too much of navigation which may result in confusing the users.
Quiz Pages: This option can be used for checking the level of training
received by a specific user. This option helps creating a small question bank of
questions and the users can be asked random questions out of this question bank.
A certificate can be printed if required for the safety training.
Usage modes: STK works with two modes namely Administrator or User.
Under Administrator mode one can create programs and mange the same and under User
mode the users can access these programs directly. You can assign a specific program
to a specific user so when you login as that user this program start working automatically.

User Module – One can create various users and run specific
programs based on type of user selected.
Full SELF KIOSK functionality – The user mode offers controls
like Always on the top, No Max/Min, No Exit without password for security etc.
